Chicken Noodle Soup

Updated: Oct 30, 2022

First off, I wanted to start off by sharing some of the benefits of this soup. We always hear our mom say when we are sick, "I will make you some chicken noodle soup." Here is why!

Carrot, celery, and onion are a great source of vitamin C and K, as well as other antioxidants and minerals. It helps build a healthy immune system to fight off viruses, and also helps your body recover from illness more quickly. Not to mention all the goodies that are good for you in the broth.

This recipe actually made A LOT, and I was able freeze about half!

Ingredients :

  • 1 Rotisserie Chicken

  • 1 Bag of egg noodles

  • 10 cups (6 boxes of chicken broth)

  • 1 Tbl spoon Chicken stock powder

  • 4-5 Long carrots

  • 4-5 sticks of celery

  • 1/4 of a yellow onion

  • 1 Clove of garlic

  • Butter

Directions :

  1. In a stock pot spoon in a dab of butter and put all pre sliced veggies in until onions are clear.

  2. Add in chicken broth and chicken stock powder.

  3. Once water is boiling, add in bag of noodles.

  4. Once the noodles are soft, turn off heat as the noodles will continue to cook.

  5. Add in entire shredded chicken from the rotisserie.

Enjoy!

I used a box of vegetable broth as my 6th box of broth. You can play with what broth you would rather use.

XOXO,

Mak
